Your general right
EU consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from many distance contracts without giving a reason. The precise start date and national implementation depend on the contract and applicable law.
Before purchase, the trader must clearly provide its identity, product, total price, payment and performance arrangements, complaint handling, and withdrawal information.
Immediate digital delivery
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal exception can apply when performance begins after the consumer gives prior express consent to begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledges that this causes the withdrawal right to be lost.
The consent must be an active, unambiguous action—not a pre-ticked box or acceptance hidden inside general terms. Contract confirmation must record the consent and acknowledgement.
If the requirements are not met
If valid prior consent, acknowledgement, or required confirmation was not provided, the trader cannot simply rely on the digital-content exception. Statutory rights and remedies remain.
To withdraw before delivery or raise a concern, email support@iqlabtest.com with the order details and a clear statement. This notice does not reduce mandatory national rights.
QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Does clicking “Pay” automatically waive withdrawal rights?
No. Immediate digital performance and loss of withdrawal require a clear, prior, express consent and acknowledgement separate from merely placing the order.
What happens after delivery begins?
If all legal conditions were met, the withdrawal exception may apply once digital delivery begins. Remedies for defective or missing content remain.
